Portales Ministerial Alliance to host food distribution

The Portales Ministerial Alliance will host a special food distribution from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 20 at Central Christian Church, 1528 S. Main St., according to a news release from United Way of Eastern New Mexico.

According to the release:

• The food distribution is open to qualified individuals living in the Portales area who are not currently being served through any other mobile food distribution site.

•All new clients will be asked to provide a picture ID and to fill out an income eligibility form required by The Emergency Food Assistance Program.

•Distribution is by last name:

A-F: 10 a.m.-11 a.m.

G-L: 11 a.m.-noon

MS: noon-1 p.m.

T-Z and all new applicants: 1 p.m.-2 p.m.
