Fall commencement

Fall commencement is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Greyhound Arena at Eastern New Mexico University.

There are 390 candidates for graduation, with 230 signed up to walk across the stage.

Dustin Seifert, director of the ENMU band, will be the commencement speaker.

After commencement, the Alumni Association will sponsor a reception in the south gym.

The honors breakfast for candidates graduating with honors will be at 7:45 a.m. Saturday in the Campus Union Ballroom.

Tickets for others wanting to attend are $6.75 and can be reserved by calling 575-562-2221.

The nurse pinning, honoring 23 bachelor of science in nursing graduates, will be at 6 p.m. on Friday in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building.

Student exhibit

An ENMU student art show is being exhibited in the State Capitol in Santa Fe from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday in the Rotunda Exhibition Space.

ENMU students are exhibiting ceramics, photography, drawing, painting and graphic design. The ceramic works were produced by students in Diane Cole’s ceramic classes.
