NormaJeanCorral, Zoe Rodriguez, Jouie Barnes, Madison Dietz, and Kenneth Mullikin, chapter officers from the Melrose Chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America along with advisor, Cheryl Hinrichs attended a one-day conference conducted by Tri-Leadership Resources on Oct. 27.
Ryan Underwood, Tri-Leadership chief executive officer, provided the keynote address that inspired the students to reach their full potential as leaders and to accept no excuses as they strive toward the accomplishment of their goals. Conference delegates attended workshops which included: leadership training, networking, career development, service projects and competitive events.
The club’s next meeting is its Christmas Party on noon Dec. 2 at Melrose High School.
