Thank you for respect

A funeral was held Friday for my uncle, Procopio Archuleta, in Clovis.

I was pleased to see the professionalism of the Clovis Police Department in the realm of traffic control. I was pleased to see the respect that the citizens of Clovis have for a funeral procession. Cars were pulled over on a double lane divided highway.

What really pleased me was to see people actually stand there and wait with hats removed until the procession was over.

It’s rare to see a city that has that much respect for a funeral procession and those family members in their time of mourning.
