Club notes — Oct. 12

PRMC Auxilians

Seven Plains Regional Medical Center Auxilians, Paula Johnston, Patricia Mondragon, Debbie Lasiter, Normal Nagel, Vivian Lake, Eva Verdile and Alicia Grasso attended the NMHA Auxiliary/ Volunteer service meeting Sept. 24-26 at the Embassy Suites-Albuquerque.

State President Leann Smith opened the meeting with greetings and welcome. She acknowledged those who had made being state president such a wonderful experience starting with our PRMC Auxilian Paula Johnston, who asked her to serve.

Guest speakers gave talks on change and how change is unfolding in healthcare.

Three PRMC Auxilians, Viva Lanet, Marie Neff and Vi Fickling who are gone, yet not forgotten, were honored in the memorial ceremony.

Two PRMC Auxilians received an award for years of service, Mary Kay Nabholz for 35 years and Lillian Stamps for 30 years.

Entertainment was provided by the young at heart choir, a group made up of senior adults.
