The man found dead Thursday in his Cannon Air Force Base home has been identified as Senior Airman Christian Barreto, a sensor operator with the 3rd Special Operations Squadron.
Cannon officials did not provide any additional information on Friday, but Curry County Undersheriff Wesley Waller said it’s his understanding the death is not a criminal matter. Waller said Cannon is handling the investigation.
