The old Lockwood Elementary School building was vacant when fire broke out Thursday morning.
Firefighters battled a blaze at the old Lockwood Elementary School in south Clovis on Thursday morning.
The fire was reported a little after 8 a.m. to Clovis school officials who said the building is empty.
