City seeks citizens with financial know-how

Staff report

The city of Clovis seeks four financial whizzes to help make decisions concerning the city’s revenue.

One Clovis resident from each of the city’s commission districts has a chance to be part of the city’s Revenue Review Committee. The committee helps make recommendations to the commission regarding city revenues.

Citizen members of the committee would help with reviewing and evaluating the financial status and revenue productivity of the city. Citizen members must broadly represent all segments of the community. They also must be known for their competence and experience in finances.

Members of the Revenue Review Committee will mutually agree on meeting days and times.

The Revenue Review Committee is appointed by the city every August in even-numbered years.
