LAS VEGAS, N.M. — The Roosevelt County 10-11 All-Stars rode a pair of home runs from Baylor Diaz to a 15-4 rout of Los Alamos County in the opening round of the state Little League 10-11 tournament on Saturday.
Roosevelt County ended the game on the 10-run rule with six runs in the bottom of the fourth, capped by the second home run from Diaz, a two-run blast.
Jason Davis, Sam Long and Isaiah Saiz shared pitching duties for Roosevelt County, which will face either Paradise Hills or Westgate in a winners bracket semifinal game on Monday.
