Encanto Garden Club

Encanto Garden Club’s June 11 meeting was held at Muffley’s Back Door in Clovis and was called to order by President Jacque Wuest.

Refreshments and the program were presented by Donna Whitfield. She demonstrated how natural oils can enhance our liver. Native plants in pure oil concentrate can be beneficial by their aroma. Internal or topical uses such as cloves help with headache or pain, lavender to relieve stress, peppermint for indigestion etc. The list went on: Lemon, lemongrass, oregano and rose petals to name a few more.

A short business meeting was held. Members are encouraged to bring visitors and in July we will plan for our participation in the Curry County fair where Encanto spearheads the flower show.
