Phil Vassar chosen for Clovis Music Festival

American country music artist Phil Vassar and The Kentucky HeadHunters will highlight this year’s Clovis Musical Festival in September, according to a Clovis Chamber of Commerce press release.
Vassar has hit the Top 5 seven times with songs like “Carlene,” “Last Day of My Life” and “American Child” and topped the charts with “In A Real Love” and “Just Another Day in Paradise.”
The Kentucky HeadHunters hit songs include “Dumas Walker,” “Redneck Girl,” and “Walk Softly (On This Heart of Mine).”
The Highway Men Live — a tribute show to three greats of country music, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash — are also featured during the three-day festival Sept. 4-6 at the Curry County Events Center.
