Friends of Oasis State Park

Members of Friends of Oasis held their first fishing event of the year at Oasis State Park. The two-day event, held March 22-23, was the “Fifth Annual Trout Derby.” Tagged fish represented the amount of prize money. Drawings for door prizes every half hour was an added bonus. Thank you to all who attended to make this our largest Trout Derby so far. The next event being planned by members is the “Old Tyme Music Concert to be held May 31 at the park.

Friends of Oasis meets the first Wednesday of each month.
