Of note: Hagerman swept to the District 7-1A regular-season title (6-0), and beat Capitan 48-31 last Friday for the district tourney crown. … The Lady Bobcats come in on a nine-game winning streak and haven’t lost since falling 60-41 to Class 2A state qualifier Eunice on Jan. 28. … Floyd was second in District 8-1A and played well in losing at top-ranked Tatum 43-38 in the District 8-1A tourney finals. The Lady Broncos lost by 25 and 33 in the regular-season meetings with the Lady Coyotes. … Senior G Taylor Hamill leads Hagerman at 15.6 ppg, and also averages 2 1/2 steals per contest. … Senior G Tabitha Ornelas paces the Lady Broncos at 18.0 ppg and also averages 2.5 steals and 4.3 assists.

Of note: Jemez Valley, which is 11-1 at home, averages 70.5 ppg while allowing just over 30. Dora, meantime, scores 44.2 ppg. … Both teams have lopsided wins over East Mountain, with the Lady Warriors beating the Lady Timberwolves twice. … Jemez Valley finished second in District 2-1A play to Magdalena, which is seeded fourth in the 1A state meet, and also lost to the Lady Steers in the district tourney final.
