• Last time out: The Greyhounds lost in overtime at home to Midwestern State 81-79 on Saturday while the Lions routed Angelo State 99-78, also at home.

• Last meeting: ENMU defeated the Lions 83-78 at Greyhound Arena on Jan. 22.

• Of note: Commerce leads the all-time series 38-19, and has won the last five on its homecourt dating to 2004. ENMU, though, has taken the last two meetings, both at home. … The January contest marked Commerce’s third loss in a row by five points or less, all in LSC play. The last time that happened was 1969-70. … The Lions rank second in the LSC in scoring (82.1 ppg). They’ve won five of 11 games when they’ve trailed at halftime. … Commerce leaders are 6-foot-6 junior G LaDon Carnegie (14.5 ppg, 51 percent FGs, 79 percent FTs), 6-5 senior G Devondrick Walker (13.3 ppg, 95 percent FTs on 54-of-57, 44 percent 3-pointers) and 5-10 senior G Tyrie Wooten (11.8 ppg, 84 percent FTs). Christian Macauley, a 6-9 junior C, averages 9.9 ppg and 7.5 rpg and leads the LSC in blocks with 65.

• Last time out: ENMU dropped a 71-69 heartbreaker to Midwestern State at home on Saturday, while Commerce lost at Texas A&M-Kingsville 80-55 on Thursday.

• Last meeting: The Zias had their biggest scoring output of the season in dispatching Commerce 90-76 at Greyhound Arena on Jan. 22.

• Of note: ENMU has dropped seven in a row since beating Commerce, and is one of four teams (along with the Lions) fighting for one of the final three spots in next month’s LSC tournament at Allen, Texas. … The Zias lead the all-tiime series 31-24, but Commerce has won seven of the last 10. … The Lions are 2-6 in games decided by five points or less. They’ve given up 90 or more points six times, including games of 100 and 101. … Top players for A&M-C are 5-11 senior F Breanna Harris (15.2 ppg, 10.4 rpg, 57 percent FGs) and 5-8 junior G Devin Oliver (10.5 ppg). Harris is third in scoring and FG percentage and second in rebounding in the LSC.

ENMU at Texas Woman’s (14-9, 9-4)

• Last time out: The Pioneers whipped Angelo State 81-57 at home on Saturday.

• Last meeting: TWU handed the Zias a 78-66 setback on Jan. 23 at Greyhound Arena.

• Of note: The Pioneers have won seven in a row to take over second place in the LSC behind No. 3 West Texas A&M, which has already clinched a share of the league championship. … TWU is 10-1 at home, losing only to WT. The Pioneers visit the Lady Buffs (21-1, 12-0) on Sunday. … TWU leaders are 5-8 senior G Rebekah Cluley (12.9 ppg, 41 percent 3-pointers, 83 percent FTs) and 6-1 junior F Ria Pateraki of Athens, Greece (10.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg). … TWU has three players — Pateraki, Kenesha Saygo and Deja Pointer — who have each made one 3-pointer this season in a combined 47 attempts.
