Jesus’ pain excels all

Think of the most intense pain you have ever had. Jesus’ pain excels every pain known to mankind and more. Would you voluntarily allow the flesh on your back to be torn into shreds? Jesus did. Can you understand a love that would allow nails driven in your hands and feet? Jesus did.

The truth of the ages still prevails: “God so loved the world that he gave.”

I pray this awesome truth will permeate your soul today and that you realize the depths of such a sacrifice. There is nothing you can do on your own. Jesus paid the price for you in your sin. We are justified by the gift of grace. It is hard to receive a gift if not accepted. That dishonors the Giver.

Accept this precious gift today. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.

What do you have to lose? You have tried the world’s way. It didn’t work. Jesus is everything. He is “joy unspeakable and full of glory.”

All around us we see the effects of cynics and criticism, leading one to a life of misery. If someone knocked on your door and asked, “Could I sell you some misery today? We have all kinds on sale.” Your decision to buy it or not is yours to make.

As for me, I soar on eagles’ wings. God has made my feet as hinds’ feet and I walk upon the high places of the earth. I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Joy bells ring in my heart and fill me with overcoming determination.

I am valuable to God. His purpose for me is to love him, honor him, glorify and serve him. I am happy in my God. He watches over me. He guides my every step. I cannot help but sing and praise Him.

I am a “masterpiece,” not for anything I have done, but for everything Jesus has done.

You can be a masterpiece too.

Accept the gift that lasts forever!
