Area road construction and closure information for this week:
City of Clovis
Norris Street continues to be closed to all traffic for an undetermined amount of time for construction, from Colonial Parkway to Wilhite Road. There will be no through traffic allowed, please seek alternate access.
Curry County
The Curry County road department will be laying caliche on Curry Road 13 from Curry Road E to G starting this week. Also, on Curry Road E 05 crews will be hauling caliche from Curry Road 13 to 14. The Curry County road department will be filling potholes on county roads. Please be aware of workers and posted speed limit signs.
State and Federal
In Portales, Constructors Inc. will be working from east on Second Street. East of Avenue C will be restricted to one lane traffic. Also, westbound First Street, starting at North Boston Avenue, will be restricted to one travel lane. First and Second east of Avenue C will be continued one travel lane to Avenue K. Expect some closures on lateral side streets.
