Do the kids have nothing to do this Spring Break? The Youth Center is scheduled to hold many activities for children during spring break at Cannon Air Force Base.
The Youth Center is geared for kids ages 9-18 and is open five days a week. It regularly puts on theme nights, tournaments and trips for military dependents.
"We are teaching the kids diversity by exposing them to different cultures," said Laekeisha Shavers, 27th Special Operations Force Support Squadron child youth program leader. "We try to host activities they don't have at home or school."
Activities this year include a Just Dance 4 tournament, movie night, trip to Lubbock and a laser tag tournament.
