Marlin and Gaylynn Essary of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Essary of Portales, to Evan Hinton of Portales, son of Troy Hinton of Portales. The couple will exchange vows 3 p.m. July 28, 2012, in Weed with the reception following the wedding.

The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Portales High School. The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Portales High School.

The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.

Drafts-Plummer

Raymond and Dora Drafts of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Raenell Drafts of Upper Marlboro, Md., to Arnold Plummer of Upper Marlboro, son of Grace Plummer of Forestville, Md. and Wallace McCoy, of Colonial Beach, Va. The couple will exchange vows July 14, 2012, in Capital Heights, Md.

The bride-elect is a 1992 graduate of Clovis High School and 1996 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University. She is employed as a security specialist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The prospective groom is a 1984 graduate of Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, Md. He is employed as the benefits director of American Income Life Insurance Company.

Peter and Mary Naughton of Dublin, Ireland, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Michelle Naughton of Clovis, to Eric Denton of Clovis, son of Jace and Jill Denton of Clovis.

The couple will exchange vows at 1 p.m. July 20, 2012, in Toor, Ireland. The reception will be at Riverside Hotel in Kilaloo, Ireland.
