Wind derails Hounds, UIW

Eastern New Mexico University's Lone Star Conference baseball doubleheader against Incarnate Word at Greyhound Field was called in the bottom of the first of the opener due to high wins which made visibility difficult.

The Cardinals scored four runs in the top of the first and the Greyhounds had runners at first and third with one out when the game was stopped. That game was officially canceled, and the second game was moved to today as part of a noon doubleheader, with the series reduced from four to three games.

UIW won Friday's series opener 10-0.
