Chandler receives honor

Ninth Judicial District Attorney Matt Chandler won the New Mexico Prosecutor of the Year award last week at the annual prosecutor spring training conference in Ruidoso, according to a news release from the Administrative Office of the District Attorneys in Albuquerque.

According to the release:

• This annual award is given to a New Mexico prosecutor who has succeeded in and out of the courtroom, bringing credit to the New Mexico District Attorneys' Association.
• The prosecutor is nominated and voted upon by prosecutors from all over the state.
