Ticket feature: Will Banister performing on way to England

Country singer Will Banister will be performing 7 p.m. Saturday at the Lyceum Theatre in celebration of his upcoming appearance at the Country Music Festival at Wembley Stadium in England. Tickets are available in Clovis at Joe’s Boot Shop, the Clovis Chamber of Commerce, Tarpley’s Music, Kripple Creek, Cook's Truck Stop and in Portales at Sunland Peanuts. Tickets will also be available at the door. Admission is $15 per person or $25 per couple and includes a commemorative CD.

Banister is a classically styled country music performer. His debut album, “Turned Her on to Country,” has been featured twice in the U.K.’s number one country music magazine, Country Music People.

Will has also been nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year at the Grapevine Opry in Grapevine, Texas and is fast becoming a regular performer at venues such as the Johnny High Country Music Review in Arlington, Texas and the Lincoln County Symposium in Ruidoso. He plays with the Mulberry Band at county fairs, festivals, private parties and weddings.
