Comments open on CCC accreditation

Clovis Community College will undergo a March evaluation by the Higher Learning Commission as part of its process to renew the college’s general accreditation through the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

A team of evaluators will visit the college March 5-7 to review CCC’s operations and form recommendations for improvement, as well as a recommendation to the Higher Learning Commission regarding accreditation status.

Full accreditation renewal takes place every 10 years, with CCC’s last evaluation taking place in 2002.

Comments from interested parties are accepted by the commission and must pertain to the quality of college or its academic programs. Comments must be submitted in writing and signed, and should be received in the offices of the Commission no later than Feb. 5.
