Stieg

Fred and Christine Stieg of Conchas Dam will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the Conchas Lake Baptist Church. The couple was married Nov. 25, 1941, at the First Baptist Church Parsonage in Portales.

They have four children: Fred Stieg and his wife Linda; Bill Stieg; Polly and her husband Bill Spinks; and Martha and her husband Richard Borden. They have 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren with a third on the way.

Fred Stieg is retired from the automotive industry.

Christine Stieg was a homemaker.
