• Last time out: Tarleton grabbed sole possession of the division lead with a 69-66 upset win over ninth-ranked Incarnate Word on Wednesday at Stephenville, Texas, while the Greyhounds lost at Midwestern State 89-69.

• Last meeting: The Texans dominated ENMU last season, winning 73-48 at Greyhound Arena and 76-36 at Stephenville.

• Of note: All three of TSU’s losses have come on the road in Lone Star Conference crossovers against the North Division. … ENMU is locked in a four-way tie for second in the South with Incarnate Word, Midwestern State and Angelo State. … With 18 points at Midwestern, junior G Stefan Mirabal is now ENMU’s scoring leader for the season (13.9 ppg), pushing him past 6-7 junior F Max Carrier (13.5). … Since 2001-02, Tarleton has a 93-51 record against the South, including a couple of years early on when the Texans were members of the LSC North. … TSU is No. 1 in NCAA Division II in scoring defense (51.9 ppg), No. 2 in FG defense (36.4 percent) and No. 3 in scoring margin (25.9). … Corin Henry, a 5-foot-11 senior PG, is the team’s only double-figure scorer for the season (13.9 ppg).
