Cannon basketball team advances to tournament final

The Cannon Air Force Base women’s varsity basketball team reached the championship game of the 14th annual Rangerette Tournament in December at Fort Sam Houston. Cannon lost to Fort Bliss in the final. Cannon beat Lackland and Tinker in the six-team tournament. Their next tournament appearance will be at the 17th annual MLK tournament Jan. 14-17 at Sheppard Air Force Base.
