Here comes the sun
The Eastern New Mexico University Regents are set to again consider a solar power purchase agreement at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Regents Room in the ENMU Administration Building.
They tabled the issue Dec. 17 to get a third opinion on whether the agreement to lease land to a solar power company and buy all of the power for 20 years made business sense.
The upcoming meeting has been rescheduled from today.

On this day in 1895, the world's first commercial movie screening took place at the Grand Cafe in Paris.
The film was made by Louis and Auguste Lumiere, two French brothers who developed a camera-projector called the Cinematographe.
