A Hobbs woman faces drug charges after Roosevelt County Sheriff’s deputies said they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in her wrecked vehicle, said Chief Deputy Malin Parker.
According to Parker:
• A silver Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Candace Glasspoole, 37, flipped just after 8 a.m. Nov. 3 on N.M. 206 at Mile Marker 45. She was taken to Roosevelt General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
• A county sergeant obtained Glasspoole’s permission to search the vehicle. A meth pipe, what Parker described as a user’s amount of suspected meth and syringes were found in the Tahoe.
Glasspoole was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, a fourth-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
After her release from the hospital, Glasspoole was booked into the Roosevelt County Detention Center, then released Nov. 12 on a $6,500 cash or surety bond.
