Benefit team roping event scheduled

A benefit team roping event for Kaycee McDaniel of Lovington is scheduled for Nov. 20 at the Curry County Events Center.

McDaniel was named Miss Rodeo New Mexico 2011 at the annual Miss Rodeo New Mexico Pageant begins her reign on Jan. 1. She is the daughter of Gary and Denise McDaniel of Lovington, and is a senior at New Mexico State University, where she is majoring in Animal Science.
