Registration is open for the City of Portales kickball tournament 9 a.m. Sept. 4 at Rotary Park.
The cost is $50 per team, said city Athletics Director Mike Doerr. Proceeds go to Portales city sports.
Players must be at least 12 years old. Each team must have eight to 14 members, including at least two males and two females.
The winning team gets a traveling trophy and free entrance into the next tournament, Doerr said. The best player gets a Golden Ball trophy.
Registration is at the Portales Recreation Center, 1001 W. 18th St. The deadline is Sept. 3.
