Garica

Air Force Airman Erica E. Garcia, daughter of Elvia Garcia of Portales, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

She graduated from Floyd High School in 2008.

By completing basic training, she earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
