Curry County administration Friday released footage of two inmates eating lunch outside the jail July 27.

The incident led Administrator Keith Norwood to fire the unidentified detention officer three days later.

The two inmates in the video have been identified as Rico Sena, wearing a white bandana on his head, and Albert Lopez.

Lopez is accused of shooting at the home of a Clovis police officer. Sena is charged in connection with a failed Feb. 21 escape attempt at the jail.

Norwood said the pair was on a work detail inside the facility and were taken outside to eat their jail prepared lunches.

The entire video lasts more than 30 minutes and consists of Sena and Lopez eating their meals while the detention officer waits. Several people, including Norwood, can be seen coming into and out of the camera’s view while they eat.
