“Harry Bentley’s Second Chance: A Yada Yada Brothers Novel” by Dave Jackson

Harry Bentley is a retired Chicago cop lying low until the day Internal Affairs calls him to testify in the case in which he blew the whistle on a gang of rogue cops.

Working as a doorman in a luxury high-rise on Chicago’s lakefront is Harry’s cover. When Gabby Fairbanks and her husband move into the building’s penthouse, suddenly Harry becomes entangled in their affairs as Gabby brings home a bag lady, gets a job at the Manna House Women’s Shelter and finds her life falling apart.
