Artesia police investigating Portales grad's homicide

A former Portales woman is the victim of a homicide in Artesia.
Police said Brandy Capps, 32, died at Artesia General Hospital Saturday of at least one gunshot wound.
Capps is a 1996 graduate of Portales High School.
Eddy County Sheriff Captain Jeff Zuniga said police have a suspect but have not yet filed charges.
Zuniga declined to identify the suspect.
