Global Health care course provides multiple perspectives

Student Health Services Director Kristin Kuhlmann will teach “Global Healthcare” this fall through an online format for the third year. The class is offered through the nursing department via Internet, but it is open to all students for a global diversity requirement.

The class looks at health care around the world in different social, environmental and economic situations.

Kuhlmann said the diversity of the class — with students from different majors and some who are international students, military or former missionaries — adds to the discussion because everyone has a different focus.
