Roosevelt man arrested for meth

A Roosevelt County man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine Tuesday.

Pedro Villalovos, 21, of Portales was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after Roosevelt and Curry County dep-

uties along with Portales and Clovis Police officers executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of North Main Street. They found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Roosevelt County Chief Deputy Malin Parker said law enforcement recei-ved a tip about 48 hours before the warrant was served.

Villalovos was being held at the Roosevelt County Detention Center on a $6,500 cash-only bond Tuesday night.
