Tuesday morning briefing: First Friday and another year for "Dubya"

Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Tuesday briefing.

First Friday

Because of the July 4 weekend, Cannon Air Force Base will host its monthly First Friday event this coming Friday at The Landing Zone from 5-8 p.m.

First Friday is an informal, family friendly event where individuals from on and off base can meet, mingle and dine at The Landing Zone.

Both military members and local residents have the opportunity to pose questions to base leadership on virtually any subject and for military members to pose questions to the community.

Members of the public with access to the base are encouraged to attend through the main gate.
