Reader submitted content: RGH auxiliary purchases two cribs to pediatrics department

Recently, the Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary approved and purchased two cribs for pediatric patients at the hospital.

These cribs can be used for general pediatric purposes and in an intensive care and critical care scenario.

The cribs provide access to the patient on all four sides, allowing treatment on both sides and at the foot end of the crib.

The RGH Auxiliary has been instrumental in purchasing hospital equipment, computer and office equipment, kitchen equipment, providing educational assistance to students in healthcare related fields, and last year provided funding for the signage in the front of the Hospital and Clinic.

While often times their generosity goes unnoticed to the general public, RGH recognizes the important role the men and women of the Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary serve. Their newsletter is appropriately entitled “The Heartbeat.”

Thank you from the Portales Community and Roosevelt General Hospital.
