Portales man pleads guilty to second-degree murder

Issac Montano Jr., 48, of Portales, was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery.

He was accused in the July 2008 death of Donald Chapman of Portales.
