The General James Smith Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas in Lubbock is scheduled to spend July and August helping others trace and document Texas ancestral lineage prior to Feb. 19, 1846.
The Lubbock DRT Chapter includes members from 20 Texas cities and the states of New Mexico, Iowa and Florida.
