— Wednesday through Sunday is the National Corriente Cattle Show at the Curry County Events Center. Team roping sessions featured. Call the events center for times: 935-7000
— The 27th Annual Plateau Wireless Custom Classic softball tournament starts Friday at Guy Leeder field. Information: 762-8977
— Clovis Lions and Patriot Outdoors annual gun and knife show is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Civic Center.
Fireworks
Clovis is still looking for private donations to pay for the annual Smoke on the Water July 4 fireworks.
