Press Release: ENMU's Kiehne and Trujillo second in team roping college finals

CASPER, WYO – After taking fifth in the second go and fourth in the third go of the team roping at the College National Finals Rodeo, the duo of Chance Kiehne (Fr., Springerville, Ariz./Springerville HS) and Michael Trujillo (Fr. Portales, N.M./Portales HS) from the Eastern Mew Mexico University are currently in second place, with a 29.6 average.

The duo was in eighth place after Monday’s first go, but times of 7.9 points in the second go and 12.9 points in the third go on Tuesday.

Entering the final round of competition, Kiehne and Trujillo are just onesecond in the average out of first place.
