Sexton

Kyle Sexton of Clovis is the recipient of a $1,500 college scholarship awarded by the Cannon Air Force Base Commissary. He will begin his sophomore year at the University of Florida where he plans to major in geology.

More than 6,100 students applied for 625 scholarships. Over the past nine years, this program has provided more than $7.3 million to nearly 4,800 students, according to a release from the Scholarships for Military Children.
