Cameo awards

Cameo Elementary is holding awards assemblies today.

Third grade is at 9 a.m., fourth grade is 10 a.m., second grade is 2 p.m.

All are in the gym.

Pushing dirt at Mickey D’s

In case you haven’t noticed, McDonald’s is digging themselves a hole on north Prince.

It’s the site of the third and newest McDonald’s for Clovis.

The “official” groundbreaking is 10 a.m. Thursday at the site, next to Chili’s.

Hosts are owners John and Robyn Snowberger and it’s open to the public.

Question of the day

A recent poll found only one-third of Americans want their Congressman back.

If you could send a Congressman from any other state back home, who would it be?
