Ginnie Seifert’s 35-year retrospective celebration of her life can be seen hanging on the walls of the Eula Mae Edwards Museum at Clovis Community College in May and June.
“Celebrating 35 Years” is an exhibit of Seifert’s multifaceted art exploration that has, “added purpose and additional enthusiasm to her life,” according to a press release from CCC.
Seifert took up art when her son suggested she might enjoy painting and after meeting instructor Virginia Posy Gregory, Seifert developed a passion for creating art, the release said.
She has painted and entered shows non-stop since and has won several awards throughout eastern New Mexico and west Texas.
Her show features oil, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink and graphite media.
