Career expo

The New Mexico Workforce Connection is holding a career expo Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the National Guard Armory, 601 South Norris.

Open to anyone seeking work.

Bring a resume. If you don’t have one, there’s still time to stop by the Workforce office, 111 N. Main.

They’ll help with resumes and offer tips on interviewing.

With honors

The Clovis High School Freshman Campus is honoring students and staff at its annual awards ceremony 6 p.m. today at the Clovis Civic Center.

Stop by and offer congrats.

Wine date

Portales MainStreet ‘s annual Spring Wine Fest is 7-10 p.m. Saturday at The YAM Theater, 219 S. Main St.

Pecos Flavors Winery is serving both beer and wine, and entertainment and refreshments are provided.

Participants must be 21 years old or older.

Tickets are $25. Available at the door, Portales City Hall, Woody's Jewelry, Doerr & Knudson law offices.
