Cannon hosting Open House

The 27th Special Operations Wing is hosting an Open House and Industry Day 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April. 17 on the flightline.

The open house is free, open to the public, and will feature 27 SOW and Air Force Special Operations Command personnel, units and assets to include static aircraft displays.

Aircraft to be showcased include: AC-130H Gunship, MC-130W Combat Spear, CV-22 Osprey, MQ-1 Predator, UH-1 Huey, HH-60 Pave Hawk, and the MQ-9 Reaper.

Informational booths on the flightline will provide the opportunity to interact with AFSOC squadrons and various other organizations.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Parking for the event will be at Doc Stewart Park in Chavez West housing, across from Allsup’s. Guests will pass through security and will be transported to the open house via bus. The following items will not be allowed on base during the open house: alcohol, coolers, backpacks/duffle bags, large camera bags, chairs or glass (except for baby items).
