Monday, the Floyd Lady Broncos officially get the prize.

8 a.m. at the Floyd High School, the Lady Bronco basketball team will be presented the official state championship trophy.

Their win in New Mexico’s version of March Madness marked the first state championship for the girls in the last 20 seasons.

Clovis High School graduation ceremonies are 10 a.m. May 22 at the Curry County Special Events Center.

Fair warning: Friday from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. the Clovis Police Department will be conducting DWI sobriety check points somewhere within the city
