Sue Harrell represents the Florida Strawberry Growers Association in Plant City, Fla., and she’ll talk about the growing season of strawberries, as well as selection and storage, as she prepares a strawberry-banana smoothie for a quick and healthy breakfast.
Sandy McCauley represents Accugraphic Sales Inc., and they make a machine called a Klic-N-Kut. She will show how to use the machine to engrave on metal and hard acrylic, emboss cardstock and punch cardstock for paper embroidery. She’s from Tempe, Ariz.
Mary Mertens is with Ticche & Bea in Chicago, Ill., and she will show how to transform your child’s baby clothes into a beautiful keepsake quilt.
Information on making home spa products and decorating on a budget will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
Sandy Grettenberger of LorAnn Oils in Lansing, Mich., will show how to make luscious lip balms and outrageous bath fizzies — which are two fun projects for the “kid” in everyone.
Author and decorating expert Jack Warner will talk about the concept of developing a game plan in decorating, and share tips from the pros in terms of saving time and money when buying items for your home. He’s from Ridgewood, N.J.
