ENMU 's Bill Squire has been selected as the Lone Star Conference men’s Field Athlete of the Week for his standout performance at the Tarleton Relays.

The sophomore from Hagerman overcame windy conditions at the event to win the hammer throw with a school-record toss of 174 feet, 4 inches in the hammer throw.

His throw was nearly 20 feet farther than the runner-up in the event.
