Ticket feature: Enter the Haggis to perform in Clovis

Blending Celtic, rock, Latin and bluegrass, Canada’s Enter The Haggis will be performing Tuesday in Clovis.

The latest installment in Clovis Community College’s Cultural Art Series, is expected to bring “jolting spirit and energy,” to the audience, according to a press release from CCC.

Enter The Haggis has achieved high Billboard listings and positions on the iTunes World Music charts and was featured on A&E Breakfast with the Arts and PBS’ Out of Ireland.

The band alternates between upbeat rock to slower, “more introspective,” songs, all driven by music rooted in the Celtic tradition, the release said.

The band has a loyal following of fans known as “Haggis Heads.” They trail the band from show to show, according to the release.

Enter The Haggis performs 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Clovis Civic Center. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for seniors, military and students. Tickets can be purchased at the Clovis-Curry County Chamber of Commerce, the Cannon Air Force Base ITT Office or at the door.
